Re-introducing Beni: The thrift shop of the future

We started Beni back in 2021 as a browser extension designed to bring the world of resale shopping directly to you. Our goal was simple: eliminate the tedious task of hunting across multiple resale sites and give everyone easy access to the benefits of secondhand shopping without the hassle.

Since then, we've expanded our vision to help people shop more intentionally. While resale remains central—because it's the best way to find quality pieces within any budget—we know secondhand alone can't solve fashion’s issues. That’s why we've built a shopping platform to encourage thoughtful, intentional buying.

The Browser Extension: Your Shopping Sidekick

Our OG tool got a facelift and some exciting new features:

Toggle between "same brand" and "same style" results: Whether you're brand-loyal or just after a vibe, you can easily compare relevant options.

Follow brands to automatically add them to your Beni profile so you can easily shop all of the latest pre-loved listings from that brand in one place.

Toggle the Beni tab on and off: We heard you—now you can control its visibility from your settings.

Quick-save items: Just browsing? Easily bookmark products into your wishlist by hovering over the Beni tab and clicking the bookmark icon. We have millions of new listings added to our database each week so saving an item increases the chances that we can find you a resale match.

Shopbeni.com - Think ‘Spotify for Style’

Think of shopbeni.com as your personal style hub, bringing your saves and followed brands together in one organized place.

Your secondhand search engine: If you have something in mind already, search the world of resale in one place to find it.

Keep track of all your retail saves and followed brands. You can create specific collections to stay organized or simply search within just your saved items.

Shop by brand: Find pre-loved listings from your favorite brands in one convenient place. Filter by “just listed” or “new with tags.”

Personalized recommendations: The more you interact, the better Beni understands your style. Like Spotify, your discover tab becomes a daily drop of fresh brands and listings tailored just for you.

Explore new brands: Break free from repetitive algorithms with brand recommendations designed to spark new style inspiration.

And just because I wish I had this when I got married….something specifically for the brides. The Beni Bridal page showcases top searches and favorite brands from other brides so you can find the best deals all in one place. Bridal resale is a gold mine of deals because most people wear their dresses for 3 hours (if that) before trying to sell. If you’re getting married or know someone who is, send this their way immediately!

The Beni App: Functionality of ShopBeni + Image Search

iOS users—upgrade your shopping experience when you’re on the go with our app:

Enhanced image search: Upload a photo or screenshot, or snap a live picture to instantly find resale matches in your size.

Quick-save on mobile: Easily save items directly into your profile with your phone's share feature. When you’re on a product page on Chrome or Safari, click the share button as if you were texting the link to a friend and send it to Beni instead.

Keep your finds and collections organized in one easy place. Come back to check secondhand listings for those items before you buy.
