#66 What a night!
Here are some of the highlights from our Galentine’s event with The RealReal last week! 💕
Last week, we teamed up with The RealReal in Chicago to bring our resale community together for a Galentine’s event full of secondhand shopping, learning, and connecting IRL.
Despite the snowstorm the day before, the turnout was awesome—from local influencers to investors to some of our most engaged Beni and RealReal users.
One of the best parts? Sharing how Beni + The RealReal work together to make secondhand shopping easier than ever.
A huge thank you to The RealReal team for joining our panel discussion and highlighting what makes them such a great resale partner—from expert authentication to an ever-rotating luxury inventory to a seamless consignment experience.
And of course, we had to put everyone’s authentication skills to the test with our Real or Faux raffle. Let’s just say the audible gasp when the answer was revealed proved that spotting fakes isn’t as easy as it looks!
At Beni, we believe resale is more than just a transaction—it’s a movement. Meeting our community in person is a reminder of how far resale has come and how much further we can go together.

Community Spotlight: Commons
Who they are: A platform for sustainable living, education, and climate action.
What they do: Commons is an ecosystem of tools designed to make sustainable choices easier and more accessible. Through their resources and interactive community challenges, they provide education, connection, and incentives to help people take meaningful climate action.
Why we’re talking about them: We know the pull of fast fashion is real. The ultra-low prices, the ever-changing trends—it’s tempting. But we also know that the cheap thrill fades fast (sometimes after just three wears). That’s why we’ve teamed up with Commons this February to help you break up with fast fashion for good.
Join our challenge, and you’ll be rewarded for NOT buying fast fashion. And if you do need to shop, you’ll earn extra rewards when you choose secondhand (preferably with Beni 😏) or shop from a sustainable brand.
